Here at Core Heating (Bristol & Bath) Ltd, we take your privacy seriously and we are committed to protecting your personal data. We will only use your personal information to administer your account and to provide you with products and services. We do not sell, rent or exchange your personal information with any third party, except to help prevent fraud, or if required to do so by law. We will not share your information for marketing purposes with any third-party companies.
Where do we get your information from?
We only collect information that you have voluntarily provided by completing the ‘Contact Us’ form on our Get In Touch page of this website. We also collect data from emails that you have sent, text messages or from invoices that have been carried out by Core Heating (Bristol & Bath) Ltd.
How do we store your personal data?
This is very important to us. We make sure that your personal data is kept securely to make sure that no unauthorised personnel can obtain your information.
What do we do with your information?
We wish to take away the burden of remembering when your annual boiler service or landlord gas safety inspection is due, therefore, we would like to use your data to provide a reminder service and contact you.
How long will you keep my data?
Our data files will have to fall in line with the lawful requirements as set out by HMRC and the HSE (Health and Safety Executive). We will only contact you on an annual basis (to fall in line with your boiler service/landlord inspection renewal date) and, therefore, if you choose not to use our services, we will stop sending you reminder letters unless you request us to do otherwise. You can request a copy of the personal data that we hold for you. An administration fee may be charged.
How do I turn cookies off?
If you prefer, you can disable cookies on this site and on others. The most effective way to do this is to disable cookies in your browser. We suggest consulting the Help section of your browser or taking a look at the About Cookies website which offers guidance for all modern browsers.
Your Data Protection Rights
It is important to us that the information that we hold is correct. However, if this is not the case, or you would like your information to be removed from our database, please contact us as soon as possible by emailing us at email@example.com. We will be happy to arrange this. An administration fee may be applied.
If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact our Data Protection Officer, Natalie Makela, who will investigate the matter further. Email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Alternatively, if you are not satisfied with our response, or believe we are not processing your personal data in accordance with the law, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
