Chaffoteaux & Maury highly recommend that your boiler is serviced every year. Due to the many dangers of an unmaintained gas boiler, we will spend the time and care needed to ensure that your boiler is in line with the current regulations. It is good to remember that not only will your home be safe, but a well-maintained boiler will run more efficiently and, therefore, help to keep your costs down!

Occasionally, your Chaffoteaux boiler will need to be repaired. Is it displaying a fault code? Here are a few fault codes that are common:
A01 No flame detected within an allowed time
A03 Flue pipe too high temperature
A36 CPU fault
A37 PCB fault 1
A39 PCB fault 2
A40 Fan error
A41 No Circulation (check pump and water pressure)
E02 No flame detection
E04 Anti-freeze system, pump only
E05 Anti-freeze system, pump and burner
E06 No water circulation in the primary circuit
E07 No water in the primary circuit
E08 Flow sensor open circuit
E11 Flow sensor short circuit
E12 Return sensor open circuit
E13 Return sensor short circuit
E14 Outdoor sensor open circuit (where fitted)
E15 Outdoor sensor short circuit (where fitted)
E16 Flame lift
E18 Flame detected with the gas valve off
E20 Faulty air pressure switch
E22 Low fan speed

It is worth resetting the boiler as sometimes this rectifies the error. If it doesn’t, however, please give us a call and we will be able to sort out the problem. Remember, we model our business so that we can respond quickly. There is no need for you to be inconvenienced for too long.
